Welcome to a new reality that some would call paradise, others hell. It's been four long, harrowing years since the first release of the Paradise Vaccine; a vaccine vowing to create normalcy in everyone and reverse or 'cure' any aberrant behavior in the human race. When Gen-X Laboratory scientists pretended to be a subset of the US government in order to get the vaccine passed as 'mandatory', they never expected the chaos they would create.

Thanks to a previously unknown gene in the human body those who were predisposed to rebel were not affected. Nor were those who's brains had already been altered by mental illness or drug and alcohol abuse. Once the vaccine was found to be unsuccessful in everyone people began to panic. Anyone who was not cured was thrown into asylums across the US. The government failed to reprimand the scientists, but instead let them take over control of these "genetic defects". But little did the president and his men know just what horrors were to befalls those poor souls.

With no one controlling them the three original scientists went out and scoured the globe for people to train to work with the asylum patients; teaching them that these people were meant to be used to help the cure, not to stop it. And how were some of the patients being used? For experiments, of course. Horrible, disturbing, disgusting experiments were being carried out on these people evident by the screams echoing in the asylum halls. Even children as young as twelve who were not affected were being experimented on in the worst ways. But the goverment chose to remain oblivious to the torture that was going on and so it has continued.

Not everyone comes peacefully, not everybody is content to stay in these aslyums forever. Talk of a rebellion has been whispered from asylum to asylum. The kids are getting anxious, getting rowdy, getting angry. Small outbursts have been happening all over the country led by a team of Resistance members planted in the asylums. But one asylum hasn't been affected...or so the staff thinks.

One of these locations is Beaumont Asylum & Rehabilitation on the outskirts of Seattle, Washington. It houses patients ages twelve to twenty-five. There are six of the rebel leaders who are plotting a revolt in Beaumont, a boy and girl per security level. They've gathered some of the other sane kids and an 'army' of outcasts has been growing in numbers. There is a hostile revolution right under the noses of the staff at Beaumont. And these kids are like a ticking time bomb, when will they explode? Or will it fizzle out before anything happens?

If you find yourself locked behind the walls of Beaumont, you are either really crazy or just misunderstood. But there's one sad reality for these people; you've only got two ways out of this place..
