[/size]What would it be like to live in a world where there are no free-thinkers? A world where individuality is a foreign word and everyone thinks exactly the same? A world with no murder, violence, and peace can be seen in virtually every spot on the planet? Well, that world just became a reality. The year is 2013 and a group of scientists at Gen-X laboratories out of Eagle Valley, California have created an experimental vaccine called Paradise Vaccine that alters the brain chemistry of people it is administered to, causing them to become clones in thoughts and personality. After small trials all over the country the scientists wanted to try it on a larger scale. So masquerading as subset of the Department of Health and Human Services released the vaccine marketing it as a mandatory 'flu vaccine'. Their goal was that by 2016 every human alive as well as every child born would be given the vaccine. They would create a total paradise of peace, harmony, and like-minded individuals.

But there was one variable that wasn't taken into account. A flaw in their so called perfect plan. There was a previously undiscovered gene called AbberantXV-II that is found in mentally unsound people and those kids who are genetically predisposed to rebel against the norms of society. This gene prevents the Paradise Vaccine from taking effect on these people. But it's not just a genetic thing since the vaccine also fails to work in those who have altered their brain chemistry by drug and alcohol abuse. So what do you do when your plan fails? You do what people always do -- you begin to fear that which you cannot understand.

In the largest witch-hunt the world has ever seen all those who were not affected by the Paradise Vaccine were found and locked away in asylums with the mentally unsound and real addicts. One of these is Beaumont Asylum & Rehabilitation on the out-skirts of Seattle, Washington. This is an all-youth asylum and rehab center dedicated to anyone under the age of twenty-three. You’re just another disposable teen now. And if you are dumped here you are either really crazy or just misunderstood.
But either way there’s only two ways out of this place.
